Mary E. Soha, M.D.

Dr. Soha attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, where she received a Bachelor of Science, majoring both in Biology and Philosophy. After completing Post-Baccalaureate studies in Immunology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, Dr. Soha received her Medical Degree from the University of Miami. She completed her internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Soha is board-certified in Pediatrics and has been in private practice since she relocated back to her native Jacksonville in 1990.

Dr. Soha also has extensive experience in pediatric sports medicine and youth athletics. She currently serves as one of the team doctors for the Bishop Kenny High School Athletic program and other various recreational teams throughout the city. She is working with local trainers and coaches to develop a pediatric sports program to help all children participate and prevent injury.

Dr. Soha is married to Dr. W. Michael Soha. She has six sons and enjoys being with them and participating in their athletic endeavors, scouting and education.

Dr. Soha is a member of the Medical Advisory Board of H Magazine, Chairman of The National Catholic Committee on Scouting®, Diocese of St. Augustine, FL and recipient of the national 2003 Tekakwitha Award.

Floyd McDaniel, Ph.D.

Dr. McDaniel is a professor in the Department of Physics at North Texas State University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in 1971 in Nuclear physics; ion-atom interactions.

Dr. McDaniel directs the Ion Beam Modification and Analysis Laboratory (IBMAL), and is actively pursuing research in atomic/molecular physics and materials analysis. He is the coordinator of the Trace Element Accelerator Mass Spectroscopy Project. The IBMAL contains five electrostatic accelerators with potentials from 200KV to a 3 MV tandem accelerator.
